Cyberattack disrupts Fairlife milk operations

The breach involved unauthorized access to Fairlife’s production systems, prompting an immediate investigation with external cybersecurity experts. Law enforcement has also been notified, though the exact timing of the attack remains unclear.

Coca-Cola stated that the incident has not compromised product quality or safety. However, U.S. production has been paused as a precaution while the investigation continues. Operations in Canada are reportedly unaffected.

Fairlife’s role in Coca-Cola’s portfolio

Fairlife, acquired by Coca-Cola in 2020 for approximately $7 billion, is a key brand in the company’s diverse portfolio, which includes soft drinks, juices, and hydration products. The brand, known for its milk and protein shakes, generates over $3 billion in annual sales.

The company is working to restore impacted systems and resume normal operations. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
