The Department of Defense confirmed the identities of the two service members who perished following an Iranian missile strike. Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, aged 19 and from Carrollton, Texas, was killed in the Friday attack on the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, situated east of Amman.
First Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, hailing from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, succumbed to his injuries the day after the initial strike, according to a statement released by the Pentagon.

This confirmation follows earlier reports of a third American service member's death in Iraq on Saturday. That individual, whose identity has not yet been publicly released, was killed during the "controlled detonation" of a downed Iranian drone.
The recent Pentagon statement arrives amidst a sustained period of US airstrikes against Iran, marking the ninth consecutive night of military action. President Donald Trump stated these operations were conducted "in honor of the … great patriots," emphasizing the ongoing US commitment to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
