A new song by D4vd has appeared on Spotify while the singer remains jailed on murder charges. The track, titled Marcescence, is visible on his profile but currently unplayable, according to the platform.

D4vd’s New Song and Its Mysterious Release

The song runs approximately 2 minutes and 40 seconds. An accompanying image shows the artist, whose real name is David Burke, taking a bathroom mirror selfie. A YouTube video matching the track’s runtime features Burke rotating the camera in front of a mirror, intercut with footage of a roadway and zooming perspectives on lights.

Fans speculate that Marcescence may be the unreleased track I Think She Knows, as the lyrics in the video align with that song.

D4vd’s Legal Case and Upcoming Hearing

Burke was charged with the murder of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose body was found in the trunk of his Tesla on April 20. Authorities allege he dismembered her remains. Hernandez, who was 14 at the time of her death, had a lengthy relationship with Burke, according to court records.

He has pleaded not guilty to all charges, which include murder, lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14, and mutilation of a body. A preliminary hearing in the case is scheduled for July 21.
